Oak Brook Attorney J. Richard Kulerski is elected to receive Distinguished Counselor Award
[Oak Brook, IL] — [October 25. 2013] – J. Richard Kulerski announced today that he has been elected to the 2013 Class of Distinguished Counselors by the Officers and Boards of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Foundation.
“I am both delighted and appreciative of being honored by such a prestigious and valued organization.” said Kulerski.
The honor is being presented at a special luncheon sponsored by the Illinois State Bar Association on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Union League Club of Chicago with a reception beginning at 11:15 am.
Kulerski is a partner in the Oakbrook/DuPage County based Law Firm of Kulerski and Cornelison (civilizeddivorce.com) which focuses its practice in divorce and collaborative law. In addition to Richard’s recent ISBA recognition, he has earned the title of Advanced Practitioner Member of the National Association of Conflict Resolution, which is the single highest mediator ranking given in the United States. Kulerski has also authored a book on divorce law entitled, “The Secret to a Friendly Divorce – Your Personal Guide to a Cooperative, Out-of-Court Settlement.”
The ISBA Board of Governors presents the Distinguished Counselors Award annually to the state’s lawyers who have completed their 50th year of practice to honor them for their respect, loyalty, and devotion to the legal profession. Founded in 1877, the Illinois State Bar Association is the premier legal association in the state of Illinois and one of the largest voluntary state bar associations in the country. With more than 30,000 members, the Springfield based ISBA operates with the primary focus of assisting Illinois lawyers in the practice of law and promoting improvements in the administration of justice. The ISBA Board of Governors directs the operations and activities of the organization.
